Wellenflug – Swing Carousel in the Berlin Themed Area
Wellenflug is a classic swing carousel in the Phantasialand amusement park, located centrally on Kaiserplatz in the Berlin themed area. The ride features freely swinging double seats that are slightly carried outward during the rotation by tilting the axis of rotation.
The carousel is architecturally designed in the style of the 1920s and is placed above a permanently installed water feature that is active during the ride with changing fountain patterns. The combination of height, rotation, and open seating position offers an airy view over the themed area.
Wellenflug is suitable for children and adults and operates at a moderate speed without extreme movements. The ride is outdoors and operates depending on the weather.
