Since August 1981, the Bavaria Filmstadt excursion destination has offered a behind-the-scenes look at the media location in Grünwald near Munich, the headquarters of the Bavaria Film Group, as part of a guided tour.
Studio halls, set streets, filming villas, and production offices – the 300,000 sqm site is a small world of its own with a long tradition. For over a hundred years, cinematic entertainment has been created here. Big productions like "Das perfekte Dinner," TV shows with audiences like "The Taste," "Joko & Klaas - Das Duell um die Welt," or "1,2 oder 3," popular series like "Die RosenheimCops," "Sturm der Liebe," or "Der Alte" are all based here, as well as the TV series "Aktenzeichen XY ungelöst."
