River Quest – White Water Rafting in the Mystery themed area
River Quest is a white water rafting attraction in the Phantasialand amusement park and part of the Mystery themed area. The ride takes place in round multi-person boats that are guided along a course with rapids, waterfalls, and whirlpools. The special feature lies in unusually steep descents, which are rather atypical for a white water ride of this type.
The design of the attraction is based on a castle ruin reclaimed by water, with a fitting rock landscape and thematic details. The boats spin uncontrollably during the ride, causing the water impact to vary for each seat position.
River Quest is very wet and is aimed at visitors with a minimum height of 1.20 m. The attraction is weather-dependent and may not operate under unfavorable conditions.
