Mopti’s Monkey Depot – Play and Rest Area in the Deep in Africa Theme World
Mopti’s Monkey Depot is a freely accessible climbing and adventure area in the Phantasialand amusement park, located in the Deep in Africa theme world. The facility is aimed at toddlers and younger children who want to be physically active in a protected area.
The play area consists of stacked crates, nets, and climbing elements at a low height that encourage children’s exploratory behavior. The design is thematically inspired by African markets and campsites and is embedded in warm colors and natural materials.
Directly adjacent are seating areas that allow accompanying persons to relax while the children play. Mopti’s Monkey Depot is outdoors and weather-dependent.
