Leonardo's Flying Machine

Leonardo's Flying Machine – interactive flight attraction

Leonardo's Flying Machine is an interactive flying carousel in Familypark (Austria), thematically inspired by the inventor Leonardo da Vinci. The attraction is located on Piazza Da Vinci and combines a classic round ride with the possibility to actively influence the flight path.

Riders take a seat in individually suspended flying machines, whose wings can be adjusted individually via side levers. This allows passengers to decide during the ride whether the gondola should glide smoothly or spin around its own axis. The control is manual and enables different flight experiences – from relaxed to dynamic.
