In the middle of Munich and yet surrounded by greenery: The Campingplatz München-Thalkirchen offers pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes, good connections to the city center, and an ideal location on the Isar River.
The Munich-Thalkirchen campsite is located at Zentralländstraße 49 in the south of Munich, directly on the Isar meadows and close to the Hellabrunn Zoo. Covering around 4.5 hectares, the site offers space for about 300 tent pitches as well as around 300 pitches for caravans and motorhomes. Many pitches have electricity and water connections; there are also fresh water, grey water disposal, and facilities for chemical toilet disposal. Thanks to the subway and bus connections, the city center is quickly accessible. The site is suitable for city visitors, active holidaymakers, and campers who want to combine nature and Munich.
