Meet our gentle capybaras, who are among the absolute favorites at the Edelwies Animal Park. The largest rodents in the world invite you to pause for a moment and admire their relaxed way of life. In their naturally designed enclosure, our capybara families feel visibly comfortable and offer fascinating insights into the behavior of these sociable South Americans. A real highlight: on special occasions and during information sessions, our keepers share exciting background knowledge about these charming water pigs – an experience for the whole family!

Höllencoaster
Höllencoaster (Alpine Coaster / Toboggan Run) – is considered the main attraction or "highlight" of the park in many reports and is praised by guests as "super long" and very fun.

Amphitheater stairs
Opposite the main entrance of the EDELWIES restaurant, a spectacular amphitheater made of yellow and gray Lower Bavarian granite was built last year. It offers around 500 additional seats and is equipped with red sun sails. The facility is used, among other things, for film screenings, public viewing, and other performances.
