Palma Aquarium

The project "Caballitos de mar Baleares" by Banca March and the Fundación Palma Aquarium has released a total of 1,517 seahorses into marine protected areas and sites of community interest in the Balearic Islands since 2022. Additionally, a specialized marine veterinarian has been hired and new biosafety protocols have been implemented.

The Undersea Explorer VR is an immersive VR attraction at Palma Aquarium that allows visitors to dive into the underwater world without getting wet.​ Experience Description In a moving capsule with a synchronized platform, guests experience dynamic 360° live films. The attraction combines technology with sensory effects for a multi-sensory adventure. Practical Information The attraction is available from June 26 and is not included in the standard ticket of PalmaAquarium – it can be booked separately. It complements other experiences such as the 3D Cinema Aquadome.
